Graphic Depiction of Ecclesial Alarmism

Pictorial representation of classic heresy-hunting response to anything that doesn't fit their narrow grid error.
Inevitable degeneration of well-intentioned attempts at dialogue with said heresy-hunters eventually looks like this.
We should all simply choose to be "wise as serpents and gentle as doves" (Matthew 10:16), like a bunny with a pancake on its head...
...and move along.

  1. "like a bunny with a pancake on its head"? That is perhaps the best simile ever.

  5. All bunny lovers,

It's a deliciously random phrase that is found on various online forums, when people are saying things that don't make any sense (see Urban Dictionary definition). The typical usage includes the saying: "I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a picture of a bunny with a pancake on it's head."

Followed, of course, by a picture of said bunny. I can't remember where I found the animated gif, but it's a classic in its own right.

    Grace,

Actually, no I haven't experienced it recently; it just popped to mind when I thought about a certain SOL that now doesn't allow commenting, and while their posts are still hysterical and paranoid, the lack of comments from their rabid supporters means that all has been quiet on the blogging front (and what a relief that's been).

I kinda liked the gif of the two yellow guys clubbing each other, too, but it's not as random and therefore useful as the bunny with the pancake on it's head.

    Grey Owl,

Agreed. But it's really good to have you back!
