Robby
McAlpine (aka robbymac) is a veteran pastor, missionary, musician, and
author. And by “veteran,” of course, we mean he’s had many
experiences—the good, the bad, and the ugly—and lived to tell about it.
Robby
and Wendy have been married since 1985 and have three awesome (adult,
married) children, a genuine Mexican mutt, and a decrepit feline who will
probably outlive the Apocalypse.
Robby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Providence University College, and completed three years of post-graduate studies at Tyndale
Seminary and
Providence Seminary.
He’s been a regular on-line contributor at Next-Wave, ThinkTheology, Vineline, ChurchLeaders, WorshipLinks, and ChurchPlants, and also served on the editorial team for Dr. Bill Jackson’s History of the Christian Church, Volume Two.
Robby’s passion for healthy churches and sound theology is reflected in the books he has written: Detoxing from Church, Post-Charismatic 2.0, and The Genesis Cafe.
Robby and Wendy live with their extended family in western Canada, and love nothing better than good times with good friends over good wine. And playing his bass (a Fender Jazz, thanks for asking).
